Man, machine, challenge! After 87 years, we return to the legendary route from Tallinn to Monte Carlo — one of the toughest and most demanding variations of the pre-war Rallye Monte-Carlo. The time has come to write a new chapter in this story.

A Dream of a Great Adventure

After many months of preparation, we are ready! On January 27, 2026, our Monte Carlo Tribute 1939 expedition will set off from Tallinn. Exactly 87 years earlier, also in January, the Polish team #122 — Tadeusz Marek and Witold Pajewski — departed from the capital of Estonia heading for Monte Carlo. The Opel Olympia in which the Poles competed in the 1939 Rallye Monte-Carlo was almost identical to the one we will be using to follow in their footsteps across Europe. The entire route covers more than 3,500 km, all to arrive in Monte Carlo on February 6, where the 28th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique will take place.

Discover #MTC39

All the stories connected with our Monte Carlo Tribute 1939 project are described on our dedicated webpage, which we warmly invite you to visit. There you will find a detailed biography of the brilliant engineer Tadek Marek. We also tell the story of the Opel Olympia — a small car that wrote a remarkably important chapter in automotive history. Finally, we share the story of our own car, which made its way to Poland from Gotland.

It won’t be close, but it will be cold!

The poster promoting #MCT39, designed by Aleksandra Oksejuk-Jędryka from wkasz.to Studio, is inspired by the original advertisement that the Warsaw-based Lilpop, Rau & Loewenstein assembly plant used in the press following the success of the Polish crew in the Monte Carlo Rally.

The entire route from Tallinn to Monte Carlo — just over 3,500 km — has been divided into stages. We hope that on many of them there will be a chance to meet you, which we are really looking forward to! We warmly invite you to join us on January 29 in Łódź with our friends at Car House Studio. The next day, we will have the opportunity to meet in Komorniki at the NOVOL company headquarters. Follow our social media, where we will be sharing live updates from the journey and announcing further details about each stop. Be with us!

Let’s be honest

The idea for Monte Carlo Tribute 1939 wouldn’t exist without the story written by Polish drivers 87 years ago. Our expedition wouldn’t be possible without our Partners. Behind every company whose logo you see below are real people — CEOs, heads of marketing, entrepreneurs, and above all, enthusiasts who simply appreciate the heritage of Polish motorsport. We will be sharing many stories about our Partners in the coming weeks, but today we bow to those who trusted us and gave us the chance to make this expedition happen: NOVOL, sklepopon.com, Pirelli Polska, Millers Oils Polska, autaniszowe.pl, Classic Group, Car House, IHaft, Buddies Clique, Automobilklub Łódzki. Our journey is also supported by the media patronage of Automobilista magazine and the Polish Motor Association (PZM).
